We have difficult news to share, and we want to be upfront with you.
Our local franchise partner in Medan has ceased operations and ended their agreement with us, without prior notice. This came after Pilates Collective had already shipped equipment to the location and supported the renovation design and completion, as shared in our last update.
We know many of you were looking forward to Medan opening, and this outcome is not what we wanted either. We take this seriously and want you to know where things stand.
On refunds: Pilates Collective will be refunding members directly. Our team will reach out individually to arrange this. If you've made a payment toward Medan and haven't heard from us by 24 October 2026, please email us at support@pilatescollectivegroup.com.
On accountability: We are pursuing legal action against the franchise partner over this breach. The equipment and renovation costs already committed by Pilates Collective represent a real loss to us, and we are not letting this go unanswered.
We're sorry this is the update we have to give after asking for your patience these past months. We'd rather tell you plainly than leave you wondering.
